The Alberta PCAP Council Board of Directors supports 30+ programs to provide the PCAP model in an educated, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed manner.
The Alberta PCAP Council supports 30+ programs to provide the PCAP model in an educated, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed manner. The Council provides training, facilitates data collection and reports, presents at learning and networking events, and supports PCAP programs in any way needed.
At all levels of operation, the Alberta PCAP Council strives to support PCAP staff and their participants, highlight the unique stories of PCAP in the province, promote fellowship among PCAP staff, and provide accurate reporting of the PCAP journey to celebrate the effectiveness of the PCAP program.
The working committees of the Council include: Data Oversight, Events, Finance, Human Resources and Personnel, Policies and Procedures, Training, and ad hoc committees. The Council is supported by three staff positions: an Executive Director, a Data Assurance Analyst, and an Administrative Assistant.
The Council is funded by and informs the Government of Alberta’s Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Cross Ministry Committee (FASD-CMC) as the program of choice for targeted and indicated prenatal support.
